Notice something?

Well, things were going quite well with our new pets— our rat problem was resolved, birdies were visiting, and my condo board were amenable to our new bird feeder. But alas, it was too good to be true.
As soon as temperatures warmed, and our little friends started getting hungry, I received the email I knew that would eventually come. Certain condo board members were having “serious issues” with our bird feeder, and have asked us to respectfully remove it. Even though my neighbors seemed to enjoy the new fellas, they did not like the bird poop (which, to be fair, I can understand). And apparently there were complaints of birds that “have been banging on windows and screens…TRYING TO GET IN (yes, that makes sense of course!). I’m suddenly envisioning Hitchcock’s The Birds.
So, the bird feeder has come down and will most likely go off to Bremerton to stay with relatives.
And in other news related to our “limited common area“… it felt like summer today and summer means barbecue! So today we thawed out our hot dogs, fired up our new baby weber (in green!) and grilled some dogs. (Keep your fingers crossed that my condo board won’t start complaining about smoke next.)

I actually can already smell the smoke from here. please remove your grill and stay indoors. FOREVER. thank you!
