My favorite cupcakes

The first time I had Trophy Cupcakes was at a Fleet Foxes show at the Crocodile. (Sadly, this was also the last show I saw at the Croc before it closed down.) The lead singer, Robin Pecknold, handed everyone standing in the front row a cupcake— which doesn’t really go well with beer, but was still super yummy. I’ve been addicted ever since. (My favorite flavor is Chocolate Chip Mint in case anyone wants to surprise me.)

To get my fix, a couple of weeks ago I met up with my friend, Kate, and we had a Red Velvet and Hummingbird cupcake (seen here) before we headed over to the Wallingford Art Walk to see my other friend, Kate (Cool Face), show her work at Bella Cosa Foods. Definitely check out Kate’s work too, there’s a reason she’s so cool.
