Happy Birthday, Cindy!
Seems like I’ve become quite the baker these days! I made my first batch of cupcakes EVER for Cindy’s birthday: chocolate with pink, white, and minty green frosting. The mint frosting** was an experiment since I was afraid it might look and taste like toothpaste, but once it was combined with the chocolate cake, it was super yummy.
**Must be minty green not minty white
Yay for summer weather!
This past weekend was unseasonably warm in the Seattle area— temps hit 90 degrees on Saturday! For us sun deprived Seattlites we finally stopped complaining about the rain and dreary weather and instead complained about the heat. For three days in a row, Seattle was fully of happy people, including me! Here’s proof I spent my weekend in the sun:

I got a sunburn at Kerry Park.
I wore my mexican fiesta dress and visited Lefki at her new boat house in Eastlake.
Morgan had a non-vegetarian BBQ.
I got see Isaac, the cutest baby ever, for two days in a row!
Wiz.
My friend, Beth, loves dogs. She loves dogs more than people, and one day she will just have lots and lots of dogs. This is her second dog, Wiz— not to be confused with her first, Zip. I wonder what she’ll name the next one?
