Bocce

Since Seattle decided against a Fourth of July fireworks celebration on Elliott Bay (which, I could have watched from my own patio IF they were happening!), I decided I had enough of the city and headed out of town to enjoy some family farm bbq and outdoor fun. Lucky for me, outdoor fun involved toe-friendly sports: badminton and bocce. I’ve only played bocce a few times (CFK!), and was surprised when Ian (fellow newbie) and I came out as champs with my winning knock-out bowl (see photo: I’m purple). My early years of candlepin bowling at Exeter Lanes apparently has helped!
